When submitting work through our paid articles program, your submission is work for hire and The Domestic Tourist retains all rights and copyright. We are only interested in publishing original articles that have not been published elsewhere. All submissions will be checked for plagiarism.

With the exception of guest blog posts, the Domestic Tourist has the exclusive worldwide right and license to indefinitely (a) access, use, reproduce, distribute, translate, publicly display, and digitally display on its network any submission accepted for publication; (b) to sublicense the work for redistribution, republication, translation and display on the Internet or off-line; (c) to edit, revise, abridge, expand or retitle the submission, including removing the content as The Domestic Tourist deems necessary or desirable to protect against potential liability.

Authors retain copyright of guest blog submissions. However, the Domestic Tourist procures the right to exclusively publish the work online for one year, the right to edit the work and the right to display the work indefinitely and to syndicate and reproduce it anywhere on The Domestic Tourist Publishing Network.
