Programmes are reserved as is on the date and times stated in the Programme Details on our website. It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to ensure receipt of an e-mail confirmation following a reservation deposit being submitted. If your confirmation was not received within a 24hr period please contact us via e-mail or phone.
Cancellations must be made no less than seven days prior to the reserved programme otherwise an automatic 15% cancellation fee is applied. Please call or email to cancel your programme.
Refunds are dealt with on a case by case basis and are subject to the refund policy of other third party companies who provide certain transportation, tours, excursions, hotel accommodations and other services included in our programmes. Please call or email if you require a refund. No refunds are available once a tour or service has commenced, or in respect of any package, accommodation, meals or any other services utilized.
Upon receipt of the voucher for your reserved programme, Q-Tech Communications (Trading as “The Domestic Tourist”) will not be responsible for and shall be exempt from any and all liability in respect of any injury loss or damage whatsoever of or to any person or any passenger of their property whether such injury to the person or passenger shall occur on the land or on any ship relating to the tour sold and whether the same shall arise from or be occasioned by the negligence of any of the companies servants or agents who sold the tour in the discharge of their duties, or whether by the negligence of other persons directly or indirectly in the employment or service of any of the companies, or otherwise or by an act of God, dangers of the seas or by accidents or any acts, defaults or negligence of any of the companies agents or servants of any kind under any circumstances whatsoever. By your acceptance of this voucher, it is deemed that you have notice of this condition and that the same has been drawn to your attention and the above mentioned disclaimer shall apply in the case of any action against any servant or agent of any of the companies. We will not be held responsible for injuries, death, loss of personal effects, or late arrival to the pre-reserved programme(s). The sale of this voucher is governed by the laws of The Bahamas and any claim arising out of any carriage on any ship or vehicle for which this voucher was sold shall be exclusively determined by the courts of The Bahamas.
Information Collection & Use
Q-Tech Communications and its affiliates are the sole owner of information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to any outside parties, except as outlined in this policy. We collect information from our customers to process orders and better serve you with pertinent information. Information collected includes your contact details, including name, address, telephone number, e-mail address. We do not collect payment information such as your credit card information.
As we work with other third party companies to provide certain transportation, tours, and excursions, we may need to share information gathered by our website. The third parties we collaborate with for these purposes have limited access to your personal information and may not use it for other purposes. We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.
All of our programmes operate during mild to moderate weather conditions, but Q-Tech Communications reserves the right alter any programme in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions. No refunds will be given for sites or landmarks not seen during the course of the programme in the case of schedule changes. If you have not provided us with a traveling contact, Q-Tech Communications, is not responsible for being unable to contact you with changes in tour particulars due to severe weather or rare personnel emergencies.
